All of us have several inner narratives. Ones that tell us we are good and happy and doing a great job, and others that tell us we suck and that everything is crap. In my previous posts I have discussed how it helps to be mindful in which we subscribe to.
When loved ones hellbent on improving us start to say things that mimic our inner critic things start to feel difficult.
What if we constantly choose to encourage and cheer on our fellow human beings, no matter how far their limitation brings them, no matter how far we think they can still go. This way matching their inner loving narrative will help them feel good.
This habit can become a place for love and kindness to grow for us and for them and nurture that inner narrative of self love and self affirmation.
